Job Description

Purpose of Job:
Preparing food for take-away and food delivery service, preparation of ingredients, ensure cleanliness of the working area, and keep the stock with necessary cooking supplies.
 
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Take orders from walk-in customers/delivery service
2. Weigh, measure, mix and prep ingredients according to recipes.
3. Steam, grill, boil, bake or fry meats, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients.
4. Check food and ingredients for freshness.
5. Arrange and garnish dishes for take-away/delivery.
6. Work well under pressure and within the time limit.
7. Ensure that kitchen area, equipment and utensils are cleaned.
 
Principal Challenges:
Ensure compliance to Food Safety and Hygiene practices
Good working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes.
Must be willing to work extended hours
Must be able to work 6 days shift work including weekends and public holidays
 
Academic/Professional & Work Experience
Candidate must possess O’ level / SPM
Certification in F & B or Culinary is an added advantage
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin
Minimum of 1 year of working experience in Fast food/Café
Candidate must be honest, trustworthy and work with integrity
Able to perform manual chores
