Job Description

• To provide pre-sales technical support for Network business primarily on Wide Area Network (WAN), Network & Application Performance Monitoring and Enterprise Network related solutions.

• To study, analyze, integrate, architect infrastructure solution according to customer\'s business, technical and operational requirement.

• Assists in bidding efforts including solution architecting, preparation of BOM & quotation, liaising with partner/principal on technical aspects, solution verifications, proposal write-up, customer presentations, clarifications, proof of concepts and other related activities

• Work with client, vendors and internal team and responsible for end-to-end integration and design

• Incorporate with support services and managed services ideas into proposal

Other Essential Requirements:

• Ability to think through problems and visualize solution and quickly lean new or unfamiliar technology

• Knowledge of networking technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP etc.)

• Knowledge of network & application monitoring solutions (Solarwinds Orion, ManageEngine, Ivanti, eG Innovations)

• Knowledge of traffic optimization and emerging SDWAN solution (Cisco Viptela, VMWare Velocloud, F5, A10, Kemp, Peplink)

• Knowledge of Cisco networking hardware and OS (Catalyst switches, routers, CBS and Meraki profolio)

• Good command of both spoken and written English

• Good documentation and proposal writing skills

• Good inter-personal and communications skill with all levels

• Self-motivated, self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Willing to work under tight schedule to meet stringent project timeline

• Post own transport

Qualifications:

• Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or equivalence

• Minimum 2-years of working experience in Cisco networking environment with hands-on skill on LAN switches, routers, firewalls and etc. Pre-sales experience is added advantage.

• Cisco certification like CCNA/CCNP. Certification with other vendor is added advantage.

• F5 certification like F5 202/201. Certification with other vendor is added advantage.

• Fair knowledge in common IT landscape for enterprise customer environment
