Job Description


Contract: 12 months, extendable
Location: Menara TRX, KLWork Schedule: 12 hours shift, rotation scheduleBasic Salary: RM2500 and aboveShift Allowance: RM300 fixed + Over time claimsQualification

  • Years of experience: 0-2 years
  • Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering
Skills Required
  • Certifications: Any Certification related to Telecom shall be an added advantage.
  • Technical and/or functional skills: Good knowledge of service networks / GSM Network / WCDMA network / LTE network / service applications characteristics and capabilities; Service Performance indicators and their interpretation. Basic Knowledge of services and service applications implementation/integration processes along with Access, Core, Transport, Cloud and Service Networks.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and handle network performance degradation via performance counters/KPIs monitoring, reports, etc. & ticket management for the assigned responsibility(s).
  • Reviewing network performance statistics during shift in order to identify and escalate any degradation in network performance
  • Regular follow up on the events with relevant departments working on it as per the process.
  • Escalation and notification to keep management and other business units informed during system outages/degradation.
  • Perform initial analysis to identify issues follow by restoration, if possible (1st line of support).
  • Report production for a variety of performance related activities including VIP investigations, incident handling, etc.
  • Maintain data integrity by ensuring all databases and tools are kept up to date with the latest and most accurate information
  • Work towards the task assigned by the Shift Manager/NOC Manager.
  • Alignment to the organizational guidelines, departmental processes & procedures
