about the roleThe purpose of the role is to support the cost optimisation targets within the Orange International Networks (OINIS) department, in order to streamline the cost base of our network infrastructure and maximize the competitiveness of our Wholesale and Enterprise connectivity products and services.The specific tasks to be undertaken as part of the role would be, for instance, conducting optimisation planning, tracking and reporting of ongoing network infrastructure projects for Orange International Networks within the APAC region and beyond.This role will report to the Orange International Networks Head of APAC Cluster.Main tasks :Site programme management * Develop detailed business and financial planning for network and site optimisation projects across the APAC region.

  • Coordinate inputs from stakeholders (internal and external to OINIS) to plan, execute, monitor and report on overall project financials, before launch, during execution and after completion of the optimisation project.
  • Coordinate regional inputs / constraints towards transverse multi-region projects on behalf of the APAC region.
  • Manage partner relationships in Build and Run phases of the project together with our Sourcing organisation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and disruptive projects under guidance from OINIS management.
Business planning and Project analytics * Ensure tracking and on-target (cost and duration) completion of optimisation projects within APAC.
  • Report to management on project KPIs and performance of stakeholder project teams against budget.
  • Consolidate findings and prepare executive communications with key messages agreed with OINIS APAC management.
  • Ensure efficient cross-team communication and escalate key project issues in a timely manner.
  • Establish and monitor a consolidated savings pipeline for the APAC region with inputs from the relevant cluster managers.
  • Organise and participate in regular process improvement workshops based on analytics with internal and external stakeholders to OINIS.
about youThe ideal candidate will have at least 8 years demonstrable experience in: * Project management methodology, tools and processes.
  • Deploying and managing global telecommunication network infrastructure and services.
  • Managing relationships with external partners in the APAC telco marketplace (colocation, local access, backbone).
  • Data analysis, correlation and presentation in a manner that enables prompt decision making.
  • Communication skills, ability to provide concise summaries of findings and highlight recommendations for improvement.
