Eurofins IT Infrastructure provides IT support for all Eurofins sites through an IT Service Desk and IT Operations teams.



Duties:

• Define and deploy of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on various platform.
• Design, maintain and manage of tools for automation of different operational processes.
• Handle pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance.
• Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of production systems.
• Manage provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions.
• Work with Linux (Must): administration and scripting. Perform installations and maintenance tasks
• Working Knowledge of Containerization - Docker & Kubernetes deployment and configuration.

Technical Skills:

• Must have worked based on Agile methodology
• Must have experience:

• i) Rancher/Kubernetes,
• ii) Automation,
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code tools with focus on Terraform
• Working Knowledge of configuration tools - Ansible, Puppet.
• CI/CD tools Azure DevOps Services, Jenkins, Github or other similar.
• Capability to write CI/CD pipelines for managing deployments on traditional in DC infrastructures or cloud environments
• Good understanding of Linux fundamentals, web protocols, storage, networking and load balancing.
• Good knowledge of Build and Deployment strategy.
• Knowledge of application servers such as nginx, Apache and/or Apache Tomcat configuration and troubleshooting.
• Execute scheduled tasks.
• Document installation set-up and configuration.
• Perform acceptance tests of the service in collaboration with the project manager.
• Assist in other related activities and projects as necessary.
• Interact with clients and internal teams to resolve issues with full responsibility.
• Handle various production support roles (technical).

Additional Requirements:

• Computer and Communication Engineer (CCE) or another degree in relevant discipline.
• Good hands-on experience in configuring, supporting, and managing complex architecture.
• Domain should be Network/Database application/System architect
• Should have worked on complex and secure deployment projects
• Must be good in handling multiple teams.
• Systematic and Process oriented.
• Good communication skill, Proactive and independent to solve issues (Must).
• Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced problem troubleshooting/isolation
• Availability outside Normal Working Hours for urgent matters.
• Ability to work on different shifts (A/B/C) and during the holidays is required.

Qualifications

Experiences:

6 - 8 years of experience in any of the following:

• Any Cloud management technology
• Managing Multiple projects and Handling infra and Apps based on client requirement
• Good Knowledge in project pipeline and deployments. Any additional experience in similar technologies is a plus.
