Performs a variety of engineering work in planning, design and modification of fixtures, tools, and manufacturing processes. Resolves production problems and completes documentation on assigned parts

Job Responsibilities

Develops, evaluates, improves and documents manufacturing processes Develops and implements process control techniques including work instructions using tools such as SPC, PFMEA Analyses manufacturing process flows continually for the improvements of quality, cost reduction, lead-time reduction for new work Collarborates with other functions to ensure effective production methods Coordinates part inspection procedures with Quality Engineers. Addresses and documents cause and corrective action issues to prevent future problem occurrences. Determines required material and tools for production Creates and registers changes to work instructions
