JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be responsible to all job related training provided by Company, shall attend unit meetings, seminars, courses and conferences organised by the Company and shall participate in the departmental programmes for performance review and development plan. KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
Nursing Assistant Duties
Under the supervision of a nursing supervisor or doctor. Employee shall provide professional nursing care to patients in a healthcare facility designated by the Company
Employee shall educate patients and the public about various medical conditions related to pregnancy, labour delivery and cares of newborn babies, treat patients and help in their recuperation and/or rehabilitation and provide advise and emotional support to patients\xe2\x80\x99 families.
Employee shall administer medications under the supervision of doctors and keep records of symptoms and progress
Employee shall supervise assistant nurses, nursing aides and orderlies when such task is assigned
Employee shall keep meticulous records of patients\xe2\x80\x99 treatment in log books, hospital notes and computer databases and treat all records confidential
Employer shall always obtain duly completed consent forms from patients prior to surgeries or treatment procedures
Employee shall carry out any administrative tasks allocated by Company on when the need arise
Employee shall be passionate and fully committed to the care of patients and always work as a team with other employees. Employee shall talk to patients in an empathetic and caring way as well as communicate information clearly and effectively in all circumstances
Employee shall perform other duties customarily and usually performed by a staff nurse.
Health and safety
Employee shall comply with all nursing protocols, health and safety policies, standard code of practise and guidelines and the guidelines produced by relevant authorities
Employee shall train and monitor personnel under his supervision to comply with all health and safety procedures
Employee shall observe all security procedures imposed by Company
