Nursery Operation Manager

Full time <> RM 8,000 - RM 10,000 per month

Job Responsibilities

Manage and supervise all nursery workers to ensure smooth daily operations. Oversee plant health, watering, fertilization, pest control, and overall growing conditions. Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure plants meet sales and export standards. Coordinate with the Sales Team to tally inventory with customer orders and ensure accurate delivery. Ensure all products are packed, transported, and delivered in good condition. Plan and implement work schedules, assigning tasks and monitoring progress. Maintain proper stock and production records (inventory, QC reports, plant growth status). Ensure workplace safety, hygiene, and environmental standards are adhered to. Train, guide, and motivate workers to improve productivity and work quality. Identify and resolve issues related to plant production, quality, and supply. Liaise with management on production targets, sales requirements, and resource needs. Any other duties as assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Plantation Management, or related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in nursery/plantation/agriculture operations. Strong leadership and people management skills. Good communication skills to liaise with workers, sales, and management teams. Knowledge of plant maintenance, pest control, fertilizers, irrigation, and QC practices. Strong planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Detail-oriented with focus on quality, productivity, and results. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
