The Role Responsibilities Job Summary To ensure all daily task are completed before the deadline given. Enclosed is the Desk Instruction. Key responsibilities cover both SCBMB and its subsidiaries and associate companies including SCSB. Strategy Assist units in project implementation. Business Review all the necessity of stationeries or other items only on a need basis. Processes All task execution or completion is according to the Desk Instructions (DOI) and relevant policy. People and Talent Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners. Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people, and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks. Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives. Employ, engage and retain high quality people. Risk Management The ability to identify, assess, monitor, control and mitigate risks to the firm. Also, an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the firm and the role the individual plays in managing them. The ability to interpret the firm\'s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures. Governance The ability to assess the effectiveness of the firm\'s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas. Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the firm operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role. Ability to deliver \'effective governance\' capability to challenge fellow executives effectively and willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner. To assist Hub whenever there are issues arising or reconciliation breaks on ROMS Reporting. Regulatory and Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\'s Values and Code of Conduct. Key Stakeholders Internal Country Finance Division, Human Resources Division, Standard Chartered Saadiq, Legal and Compliance Division, Group Technology Division, ARMS and Credit Operations, Branch staff, Dealers and Regional Auditors, GPCW, DAU,GRH Chennai, FMO_CC Group offices, SCB branches and subsidiaries and GBS KL and Chennai.
