Role Purpose

Senior Flight Operations Officer, Operations Control and Dispatch (OCD) will be responsible to assist Fight Dispatcher and also tracking/updating the movement of Aircraft for the whole operations of SZB/PEN OCC.

Key Accountability

• Direct plans, develops, controls, coordinates and implements flight dispatch services to ensure safe and legal operations.
• Responsible to transmit movement message to assigned destinations.
• Monitoring of incoming Telex messages.
• To coordinate irregularities of filling ATS Flight Plan to respective aviation authorities.
• Transmission of Fuel Requirement to Traffic Load Control and Engineering.
• Monitoring and capturing abnormal NOTAM messages.
• Timely monitoring of Schedule Change Notices and communicating its contents to respective departments of OCC.
• Responsible for requesting Ad-hoc Weather Reports.
• File local and international ATS flight plans for Training Flights, ADHOC Flights and Extra Flights.
• To ensure all relevant clearances for schedule flight been effectively communicate to Flight Dispatchers.
• To liaise with meteorological Department regarding issues Operational information.
• To liaise with Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) regarding NOTAM.
• To liaise with the line station handling agents on route changes.
• To provide technical expertise to support the Duty Executive functions during the management flight deviations/irregularities.
• To coordinates with all station on flight dispatch matters.
• To attend to Voyage Report for corrective action.
• To investigate delays and provide feedback to Head of Flight Operations.
• New schedule advising and safety information will be relayed to PIC through VHF and HF.
• Other duties assigned by FOM and other superiors.

Qualifications & Working Experience

Minimum SPM (3 passes including Bahasa Malaysia and English) with 1 year working experience in Airlines or other related.

Skills & Knowledge

• Computer skills in Microsoft Application(word & Excel).
• Able to work independently and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Able to interact well with others.
