Job Title
Officer, Perishable (Special Product Handling)
Reports To
Senior Officer, Perishable (Special Product Handling)
Role Purpose
Execute and perform function (Physical, documentation & data update) of Special Product Cargo handling (Live Animal, Perishable and Express Cargo including Postal Mail) processes as per company service standard operating procedures and compliance to legal and other requirements and meeting customer service standard
Key Accountability
- Serving the customer by performing Acceptance, Delivery, Counter and Warehouse functions as per company SOP, IATA PER/LAR regulation and other requirements
- Update accurate data update and collect all related handling charges and avoid revenue leakage
- Ensure safe handling and comply to customer and other related regulation of special cargo ie Perishable, Live Animal, Express Cargo and Postal Mail etc as to minimize mishandling and avoid penalty/claim by authority/customer
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma in Logistic & Cargo handling with 0-2 years of working experience in Special Cargo Handling or
- High school certificate (SPM/STPM) with 0-1 years of working experience in Special Cargo Handling
Skills & Knowledge
- Good Knowledge on computers applications
- Knowledge in cargo handling and regulations
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
Key Challenges
- Frequent changes in procedures/requirements (customer & authority)
- Shortage of resources (equipment/manpower)
