Job Responsibilities
Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery time, and reliability.
Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Monitor inventory levels and work with internal departments to forecast demand.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Track supplier performance and address any issues regarding quality, delivery, or compliance.
Maintain accurate records of purchases and vendor information
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience:
Diploma / Degree in related field.
2+ years of experience in a purchasing / buyer (industry/ manufacturing specific experience is a plus).
Skills:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
