Communicate regularly with customers in a polite and professional manner and solve daily issues (while coordinating with internal colleagues, as necessary)
Update customers on local/international rules and regulations
Review all documents received from customers for accuracy
Follow up with origin / local offices on shipment status
Collect all commercial and shipping documents from the customer or origin office well in advance of shipment execution
Professionally and proactively update customers with shipment status; update overseas offices and customers about potential delays or unusual circumstances
Arrange the haulage/ transport based on customer request and monitor tightly to ensure on time pick up and delivery.
Review the job file check list to ensure all required actions have been completed
Provide timely feedback to Superior and Customers for shipment discrepancies
Create reports per instructions from Sales or according to customer requirements
Escalate potential issues and ensure corrective actions are taken in accordance with business guidelines and customer requirements
Provide solutions, advice and guidance to the team for any issue or problem that arises.
Train and coach the team to ensure a smooth operation.
Job Requirement
Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Business Studies/ Administration/Management, Logistic/ Transportation/ Warehousing/ Inventory Management or equivalent.
Preferable with 2 years of working experience in the related field.
Required Language: English, Mandarin (MUST) and Bahasa Malaysia
Excellent negotiation skill and communication skill, both verbal and written,
Self- motivated, dynamic, responsible, good team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
