Job Description

Capable to handle overall export and import shipment activities by sea/air ensure products are delivered to customer complete in full and on time.*
Responsible to issue, check and submit complete and accurate shipping documents to forwarders/Manifest in a timely manner to avoid delay and minimize any cost.*
Source, liaise and negotiate with freight forwarder/transporters/insurance agent to obtain best rates and terms.*
Proactively monitor and track shipment status and update to customer promptly.*
Responsible to organize workflow and set priority to meet the required time frame of each shipment.*
Responsible to do proper filling for all logistics related documents.*

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Logistics/ Transportation/ Shipping/ Business Administration or its equivalent.*
At least three (3) years of work experiences in logistics or shipping industry.*
Proactive, trustworthy, accountable, reliable when dealing with confidential information, multi-tasking and good reporting skills.*
Self-motivated, independent and can work with minimu*m supervision and guidance.
Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office such Excel, Word & Outlook. Good interpersonal and communication skills Able to troubleshoot problems depending on the situation and work with minimize supervision.
