Job Description


Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in any field.
  • 5-7 years of working experience in retail operations management/related field.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to work on shift including Off Day, Rest Day or Public Holiday.
  • Able to move upwards or laterally within the AEON Business.
Responsibilities
1. Financial Management
  • Analyzing & understanding the Mall Profit & loss statement and achieving the monthly budget figures, ageing management by analyzing and sending out reminders and planning the strategies to clear the outstanding figures.
  • Expenses Control:
o Setting the annual budget and manage for Expenditure of the Shopping Centre.
o ensuring the PISR are submitted to the Headquarters as schedule and park in the P&L accordingly.
2. Tenant Management
  • Periodical Inspection:
o Coordinating with the tenants on the monthly checking (Hygiene, Gas, Safety)
  • Tenants Renovation/Handing Over:
o Monitor the commencement of renovation and compliance to the Mall Rules and Regulations.
  • Conducting law awareness events related to the tenants:
o Fire Drill, Safety Briefing, ERT Organization, Health Seminar, etc.
3. Building Management.
  • Assisting the Mall Manager in:
o Car park Management:
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensuring smooth traffic control
\xef\x82\xa7 analyzing Mall car count
\xef\x82\xa7 monitoring the accuracy of cash collection management
\xef\x82\xa7 developing the car park related procedures
\xef\x82\xa7 coordinating the maintenance of car park system.

o Housekeeping/General Affairs Management:
\xef\x82\xa7 Planning the opening & closing route for the mall
\xef\x82\xa7 managing the Mall Keys
\xef\x82\xa7 checking the effective executions of contracted services such as pest control, landscaping, cleaning.
\xef\x82\xa7 Understanding the building condition and able to propose the Mall Refurbishment and major Capital Expenditure Projects for future.

o Food Court/ Avenue Management:
\xef\x82\xa7 Managing the manpower and daily operations of Food Avenue.
\xef\x82\xa7 Purchasing the sales materials and evaluate the performance.
\xef\x82\xa7 Plan the countermeasures with sales team for performance recovery. (For those malls who have the Food Court / Avenue).

o Facility Maintenance:
\xef\x82\xa7 Coordinating with Facility Management Department on the status of all Maintenance & Electrical (M&E) equipment
\xef\x82\xa7 ensuring the smooth operation.
\xef\x82\xa7 Coordinating with Landlord on any outstanding issues to speed up the process.

o Safety & Security:
\xef\x82\xa7 Coordinating with the authority & HQ Safety
\xef\x82\xa7 Security on the compliance and activities related by Law
\xef\x82\xa7 manage the crisis management with the related procedures
4. Administration & Staff Management.
  • Assisting the Mall Manager in:
o Licensing Management:
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensuring the existence of all licenses, the expiries and renewals.

o Insurance Management:
\xef\x82\xa7 Understanding on all insurance procedures and coverage

o Clerical matters:
\xef\x82\xa7 Housekeeping and maintenance of Mall Documents and Management Office

o Human Development:
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensure organization chart updated and sufficient work force for Mall at all time.
