As a Transport Operation Manager- you are responsible to manage all transport flows for SEA markets including inbound from port to DC, outbound, moves, as well as online returns. Ensures the market transport service levels and cost for B2B and B2C, resolves issues, manages market transport partners including contract negotiation. You are passionate about sustainability and help to drive local initiatives.

You closely cooperate with DC teams and sales teams to drive and improve both online and retail transportation to achieve the best outcome for the H&M customer foremost.

Secure Transportation Operation flow

• Take full responsibility for responsible markets transport budget, results and OKR outcome to secure the service level and cost balance
• Clearly know the reason of the result, make a 'SMART' action plan for the potential result, make a strictly and regularly follow up for the outcome

Vender Management and Tendering

• Take full responsibility for responsible markets carriers' performance management, contract renew and negotiation, tender sourcing
• Follow up transport governance model process and timeline to optimize transport service level and cost in responsible markets

Transport Improvement -Project and Roadmap

• Execute and manage responsible markets transport related improvement and projects
• Update the progression to regional transport manager, regional team and global team regularly
• Follow up the project outcome and share to related stakeholder

Develop Team & Enhance cross functional collaboration

• Set up way of working with all responsible markets DC managers & sales team
• Set and define team's personal development plan and goal, make regular check in
• Make self-personal development plan regularly check in with regional transport manager

Qualifications

To be successful in the role we believe you have:

• Deep expertise in operational transport processes to serve online and stores
• Strong understanding of business needs from sales side for online and stores
• Solid overview on specifics and capabilities in transport operations to serve brand needs
• Pronounced transport focus, commercial sense and "can do" attitude to best serve requirements
• You are fluent in English both written and verbal

Additional Information

This is a full-time position within Logistics Region APAC. You will become a part of the Logistic Region APAC team. You can choose your based location within SEA region which means in Malaysia, or Philippines or Vietnam. You report directly to Regional Transport Manager in Asia and Pacific.
