Job Description

Responsibility:

• Oversee the overall manufacturing process in an industry to ensure optimized production.
• Supervising and directing the technical personnel responsible for every stage of production to ensure manufacture of high quality and cost-effective product.
• Ensure production complies with established quality control specifications and standards.
• Oversee the planning and organization of a production process and ensure availability of necessary material, equipment, and labor resources required for a project.
• Conduct inspections to ensure production machinery are operational and efficient.
• Facilitate maintenance, repair or replacement of damaged equipment.
• Inventory control monitoring for incoming raw material, finished goods and also the waste as per Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) requirements.
• Run a safe, injury / accident-free workplace.
• Communicate with legal counsel and safety department to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA health and safety regulations and other governmental regulations
• Produce reports of manufacturing operations present to company management to update them on expended resources.
• Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Work closely with GM and management team to set and/or implement

policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.

• Assist HR with recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline employees when necessary.
• Support worker communication with the management team.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least SPM / STPM / A Level/ Pre-U / Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experiences in manufacturing field.
• Possess excellent leadership skills and with proven track record in managing sizable group of subordinates.
• Demonstrate problem solving, decision making and crisis management skills.
• Computer literature; familiar with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point to analyze data and trends).
• Technical competencies in manufacturing (e.g. technical drawings, blueprints, CAD/CAM) is a must.
• Candidate with LMW background will be an added advantage.
• Candidate must be willing to travel to China for 2 to 3 months for technical training prior to new factory set up.
• Must be able to read, speak & write in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin. (Mandarin reading, speaking and writing is COMPULSORY to liaise with associate in China).
• Possess own transport and must be willing to work in Nusajaya, Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru.
