You will be working closely with the Manager to drive efficiencies in various data collection processes. The role entails day-to-day automated data collection support from filings, regulatory reports, and other kinds of documents, using technology solutions such as data feeds, web-crawling, automated data extraction and Natural Language Processing (NLP). Essential duties & responsibilities Collaborate with business units to use and expand automated data collection Enhance and maintain data extraction models, rules and validations through ongoing calibration and regression testing Assess the approaches used and propose improvements Identify and resolve issues related to missing or erroneous data Confirm data transparency and accuracy for business units and clients Participate in development of metrics for effective measurement of efficiency gains Qualifications Bachelor's degree, preferably business, accounting, statistics, computer science or similar At least 3 years' relevant work experience Proven experience with structured data collection or manipulation, understanding of differences between structured and unstructured data High-level understanding of financial system, capital markets, stocks, bonds and other securities Proficiency in Office Suite, particularly Excel or Access Key Competencies Open to and willingly adopts new processes, approaches & ways of working. Proactively looks for and suggests ways to improve products and, processes or procedures resulting in increased revenues, procedure improvements and/or cost reduction Language Skills - Demonstrates a high level English proficiency in, both verbal and written skills. Dedication - Willingly puts in the effort to ensure activities are completed on time, meet daily quota and to the quality level required. Proactive and demonstrates initiative. Excellent stakeholder management and prioritization skill Able to analyse issues to identify the most appropriate solution. Utilises all available resources and skill-sets to investigate and resolve problems. Has a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Tackles routine tasks as necessary. Carries out work without prompting and close supervision.
