We are looking for a
responsible and proactive Car Rental Operations Assistant
to support daily car rental operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that every vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and ready for rental while delivering excellent customer service. This role involves handling vehicle inspections, documentation, customer interactions, and basic maintenance tasks to ensure smooth and efficient rental operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Vehicle Preparation and Inspection
Ensure all rental vehicles are clean, safe, and in good working condition before being handed over to customers.
Conduct interior and exterior vehicle inspections before and after each rental.
Check fuel level, tire pressure, mileage, and essential safety tools.
2.
Vehicle Delivery and Collection
Deliver vehicles to customers at designated locations (airport, hotel, office, etc.).
Ensure timely and professional handover and return of vehicles.
3.
Documentation and Record Management
Prepare and verify rental documents, including rental agreements, copies of driving licenses, and identification cards.
Update rental records and vehicle status in the computer system accurately.
4.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Perform minor maintenance tasks and arrange for scheduled servicing when required.
Sent to Car Wash and basic clean vehicles as needed to maintain presentation standards.
5.
Customer Service
Assist customers during the pickup or return process, addressing any issues or inquiries.
Gather customer feedback and report suggestions for operational improvements.
6.
Reporting and Coordination
Report any damages, accidents, or technical issues to management immediately.
Coordinate with the team to manage vehicle availability and rental schedules.
7.
General Duties
Perform other car rental-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
1.
Education:
Minimum SPM or equivalent. Candidates with a Certificate or Diploma in Automotive or related fields are encouraged to apply.
2.
Experience:
Previous experience in car rental, automotive, or logistics is an advantage.
3.
Skills:
Able to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer literacy for data entry and record management.
4.
Personal Qualities:
Punctual, honest, disciplined, polite, and hardworking.
5.
Other Requirements:
Must possess a valid car driving license (Class D).
Own transport to commute to work.
Physically fit and energetic.
Willing to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
