Job Description


Reporting line

The Operations Coordinator will report directly to the Operations Manager.

1. Role

This role will be to provide support to Operations and Procurement in respect to the movement of equipment and personnel. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the traceability of local and international movements of Archer and Client owned equipment and Archer personnel in Guyana.

2. Key responsibilities

This role will be required to:

  • Create Commercial invoices
  • Create Purchase Orders
  • Coordinate with Procurement department to make IFS movements when equipment is removed / returned to / from warehouse / store containment area.
  • Complete shipping documents prior to shipment of equipment to ensure full traceability of equipment movement.
  • IFS Transfers for various parts\xe2\x80\x99 movement within the AOT Warehouse or to outside vendors.
  • Adding / scrapping of Tools / Objects / Rental assemblies
  • IFS Object Set-up
  • Generate reports from IFS
  • Organize inventory both physically and in IFS for purpose of improving efficiency and / or accuracy
  • Perform Inventory Audits / Cycle Counts (includes reporting in IFS)
  • Maintain min/max on all inventory utilized
  • Prepare / Participate in annual Internal / External Audits involving logistics & inventory management procedures
  • Coordinate with IAH to plan Personnel movements to and from country
  • Maintain traceability of Personnel movements on and offshore; generate monthly report for Account Manager(s)
  • Maintain traceability of Personnel eligibility for offshore work in Guyana; generate monthly report for Operations Support Specialist (US-based)
  • General duties of Operations Support Specialist
  • Participate in daily workshop operations as needed
3. Skill Requirements
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with both internal and external parties.
  • Ability to investigate non-conformances and investigate corrective actions and verify suitability.
  • Possess proven leadership traits, dependability and adaptability to change
  • Knowledge of general business computer software; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and aptitude to learn new software applications
  • Willing to work overtime, holidays, nights and weekends as required
4. Education and Experience
  • High School Degree
  • Associates Degree or Technical/Vocation Certification preferred or qualified work experience
  • Supervisory experience preferred within the oil and gas industry
  • Inventory and Personnel tracking and management experience is preferred
  • Experience with ISO 9000 Standards is preferred
5. Limits of authority

Authority is given according to Archer Oiltools delegation of authority matrix
