Job Description

• Seeking for seasoned operations leader with strong experience in both Manufacturing and Engineering functions to lead the team.

• Responsible for overall operation of Manufacturing, Engineering, NPD and Maintenance function.
• To execute daily production activity & delivery plan & others valid assignment entrusted by General Manager.
• Responsible for daily production output, resources allocation and utilization to achieve weekly/ daily production goals.
• Responsible for the best utilization of all ready resources for the greatest operation advantage. Proposed, arrange and activate if any additional resources are required in meeting operation goals, this includes manpower, equipment, overtime and supports.
• Responsible to organise daily review with line personnel & address issues pertaining to output, quality, headcount, WIP & bottleneck.
• Responsible to enforce established work place management, housekeeping, safety and employee\'s discipline.
• Responsible for all manpower related issue including performance appraisal, counselling, discipline, grievances handling, overtime arrangement for Manufacturing, Engineering, NPD and Maintenance personnel.
• Responsible to report daily activities in the form of e-mail or others communication mode to General Manager.

• Diploma/ Degree holder in Management/ Engineering or its equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years working experience in manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills.
• Good ISO requirement knowledge.
• Ideally coming from a PCBA/ SMT Manufacturing Environment

My client is a Singaporean based organisation located in Melaka, they are specialised in manufacturing unique PCBs in the automotive market. That being said, they are currently seeking for an Operations Director to be the strategic eye in their operations. This person will be in charge in Manufacturing , Engineering, NPD, Maintenance and Safety functions.
