We are looking for an Accountant to have a full accountability in the management of daily accounting operations and reporting requirements by ensuring compliance and other regulations at all times. This includes providing professional accounting advice and guidance to other stakeholders, where required. A day in the life of... Accounts Receivable: Review AR ageing and provide report to F&C Manager on receivables ageing status follow up with Key Account Managers and/or Customers on unpaid overdues. Review dunning mail list for NBS AR to send reminder to customers. Review open balance analysis and coordinate resolution actions. Coordinate exceptional refunds that need to be performed separately from CN process. Cost control management including Dynamic Forecast: Work in collaborative manner with respective function to review overhead and operational cost. Review monthly performance and ensure timely reflection cost. Update cost forecast templates with actuals MTD results for DF preparation Perform DF vs Actual's analysis and communicate to respective Head of Functions. Have discussion session with Head of Functions on cost forecast. Prepare cost center report on monthly basis and review with F&C Manager Prepare/Update Retail Operation Cost P&L for review with F&C and Retail Manager Update T&E report and review with F&C Manager Ad-hoc sample review T&E spends and share findings with F&C Manager Support F&C Manager on ad-hoc request for bottom line analysis Update cost forecast accuracy by function and share with F&C Manager Controller of overhead budget for Nespresso Malaysia operations. ie. Training etc. Review and report performance of overheads during period end closing. Ensure period recognition of accruals and ensure timely reflection of operational cost. Joint effort with Accountant to continuously review and implement business processes. Day to Day Financial Accounting Management: Ensure period recognition of accruals and ensure timely reflection of operational cost. Joint effort with Accountant to continuously review and implement business processes. Supervise Junior Accountant on day-to-day activities. Support the Junior Accountant on month end closing activities. Governance Custodian of internal controls for the CC&S and support functions. Review and implement policies as necessary. Update Travelling and Expenses (T&E) report and review with F&C Manager Ad-hoc sample review T&E spends and share findings with F&C Manager Review SOD with F&C Manager Review Fraud Report (BFC) Coordinate Annual NIMBUS (Internal Control) exercise and oversee E2E process Review ISIT Request Form from Function to F&C Manager Coordinate BCM test with NBS on all relevant processes Review Nessoft user access Others Participate in physical stock count with supply chain Prepare/Update bad goods reporting Review monthly provision of bad goods with supply chain Review Bad goods with F&C Manager Assist in other finance operational activities as necessary. Facilitate in continuous improvement initiatives. Assist Finance & Control Manager as required What will make you successful Min 5 to 8 years of experience working in Finance & Accounting Department or Audit firm. Strong knowledge in accounting standards, with F&B background, has exposure in the preparation of Audited report and possess commercial experience. Intermediate level in Microsoft Office is mandatory. FICO SAP knowledge and experience. ACCA/ CPA qualification would be an advantage. Nestl is the largest food and beverage company.
