Operations Manager

Job Description
The Operations Manager is responsible for providing strong leadership for the plant operations and to ensure the performance for the organization\'s supply chain in terms of safety, service, quality and cost.
- Plant P&L responsibility
- Oversee all plant operations; coordinate and monitor daily workload throughout the plant\'s manufacturing processes including fabrication, welding, paint and assembly
- Ensure that all products meet 100% total quality requirements
- Manage specific KPIs for safety, quality, delivery and profit
- Strive for safety excellence by promoting a culture in which safety and health are fully integrated into the business. Demonstrate that safety is a core value of the organization, through strong, visible and engaged leadership
- Develop systems and processes to track and optimize productivity and standards to meet established metrics and performance targets
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in plant management/leadership experience and experience in metal fabrication is highly desirable. Other requirements includes;
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering
- Experience within the Aerospace or Oil & Gas fabrication manufacturing industry
The facility employs over 150 personnel made up of leadership, administration, welders, production, maintenance, engineering, warehouse and logistics personnels.
