Job Description

The support specialist will be a techno functional support team member for Oracle ERP Finance Applications under IT BAU team. He/she is responsible for ensuring system availability and provide support for applications like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, iExpense, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and other ERP modules. The support specialist, as the expert analyst within the IT team, is responsible to perform co-ordinate work with various teams like Tech Infra, application services, solutioning, project and business users of the bank. He/she follows up to resolve issues reported by users and performs impact analysis related to projects/enhancements that will impact the ERP applications. This role is based in Malaysia.

• Technically competent in Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Payable, iExpense, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets Modules
• Good at designing, developing and supporting interfaces, API, Oracle Forms, Reports, Concurrent Programs, Workflows, WebADI, PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers and views
• Having knowledge in Unix/Linux, WebLogic, Java J2EE, able to understand and communicate in the technical discussion with all stakeholders
• Responsible to provide BAU support for responsible for ensuring system availability and provide support for Oracle ERP Finance applications like Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Payable, iExpense, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets Modules
• Experience on Oracle Financials cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud will be added advantage
• Responsible to provide operational support and ensure SLI of system availability, online and batch deliverables
• Support diverse jurisdictions comprising of SG, MY, CN, International
• Fine tune applications and systems for high performance and higher volume throughput
• Contribute to business requirement review for technical implementation as a subject matter expert for IT to ensure standards are met
• Conduct review of technical and functional solutions from enhancement/project team to ensure they conform to IT standards
• Respond on time to the queries raised by various business units
• Provide timely updates regarding production status and progress of issue resolution
• Perform impact analysis of enhancements/projects that will impact supported system
• Participate in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity exercises
• Provide on-call support and afterhours/weekend support as needed, covering application support and application change deployment.
• Have a quality mind-set with prevention attitude to attain zero defects

• Able to support SIT/UAT/PROD/DR deployment, with DevOps
• Able to support relevant software/platform/database upgrade for the systems
• 24 x 7 offsite standby support on rotational basis to support production issues.

• 3+ years of IT experience with Oracle ERP Finance applications like Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Payable, iExpense, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets Modules.
• Able to understand the application design & workflow in a faster pace

• Strong in technical skills for designing, developing and supporting interfaces, API, Oracle Forms, Reports, Concurrent Programs, Workflows, WebADI, PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers and views
• Good knowledge in Unix/Linux, Oracle, Weblogic, Java J2EE, DevOps and able to understand and communicate in the technical discussion with developers

• Able to identify the underlying problems, analyze the root causes, provide possible solutions and respond to users within SLA
• Good communication skills to lead and coordinate discussions with all stakeholders.
• Incident, problem and service outage management experience
• Server Performance, capacity, utilization monitoring and Health monitoring experience
• Provide coordination of application support.
