Come be a part of this journey!BAT KL IS LOOKING FOR A CREDIT MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT MANAGER - ORDER TO CASHSENIORITY LEVEL: ManagementFUNCTION: GBS Finance - Order to CashSALARY RANGE: Market salary + Excellent benefits + Market leading bonusSHIFT: Sunday to Thursday (12PM to 9PM)LOCATION: Sunway Geo, Kuala LumpurROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVESThe Assistant Manager for Credit Management (CM) will be involved in overseeing and performing of information within Credit Management and Collection processes to ensure quality and accurate completion of services and key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the Operating Level Agreement (OLA).Reports to: OTC ManagerReporting Level: N/AWHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FORTransaction Processing

  • Plan, organize and supervise team\'s work.
  • Review reports which performed by team members.
  • Communicate potential issues/risks with team.
  • Provide support for implementation of project migration and global initiative.
Process Excellence
  • Monitor and manage performance measures/key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Responsible for BAT\'s Credit Management and Collection processes, procedures and standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement in process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure internal controls programs are adhered.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Monitor and addresses customer needs and issues, ensuring that customers are satisfied with overall process services.
  • Maintain working relationship across functions.
People Management
  • Create a positive work environment that fosters team performance.
  • Organize and conduct regular meetings and communications with team members.
  • Coach team members to improve skills and knowledge required to perform his/her job effectively.
  • Counsel team members on performance improvement and career development.
  • Resolve management team conflict with sensitivity, tact and fairness.
Financial Management, Budgeting and Reporting
  • Participate in strategic planning for BAT.
  • Develop & manage short and long-term operational and strategic goals for Order to Cash.
  • Facilitate the assimilation of new companies or markets into GBS processes during merger and acquisition initiatives.
  • Performs additional financial management processes including reporting and operational planning.
  • Develop and manage disaster recovery plan.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • University degree in accounting related field or equivalent.
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting in a multinational corporation.
  • SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of finance and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of regulation on accounting and tax requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge and use of office productivity tools (MS Office, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to use SAP FI/CO module is an added advantage.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills (e.g., planning, organization, direction of employees).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (e.g., presentation, listening, report writing)
  • Good interpersonal skills (e.g., tact/diplomacy, persuasion, cooperation, ability to motivate others)
