One of the major global music companies. Operating as a multinational entertainment and record label conglomerate in America. They are looking for finance talent to join the team, with hybrid working arrangement.

Job Responsibilities

• Support supply chain and sales teams by providing financial order management assistance, effectively controlling credit exposure, expediting payment, and resolving customer disputes.
• Oversee the recording, research, and application of transactions such as checks, credit cards, and deposits.
• Ensure comprehensive payment collection, accurate accrual calculations, and precise cash forecasts.
• Facilitate monthly accounts receivable closure process, encompassing general ledger preparation, adjustments, journal entries, and meticulous account reconciliation.
• Execute standard invoice requests and generate billing proposals efficiently.
• Promptly address and post unallocated or unidentified cash receipts.
• Lead monthly calls with labels to discuss account balances and manage the collection of designated customer accounts.
• Assess both current and delinquent customer accounts, managing reconciliations and settlements, while adhering to escalation protocols and referring uncollectible debts for write-off.
• Process credit notes and handle cash allocations.
• Effectively oversee and manage collections processes.
• Regularly update provisions for bad debts.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve disputes promptly.
• Manage the processing of dispute and deduction adjustments, as well as write-off balances.
• Conduct revenue assurance activities to ensure accuracy.
• Perform queries for accounts receivable, collaborating with various business divisions such as labels, publishing, and corporate units (tax, legal, etc.) on diverse projects.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in OTCTop of Form.
• SAP Knowledge will be great.
• Able to work well with the team in a fast paced MNC/SSC environment.
• Prior experience in SSC / International MNC environment will be advantageous.
