P2p Subject Matter Expert (1 Year Fixed Term Contract)

Job Description

We are currently looking for P2P Subject Matter Expert (1 Year Fixed Term Contract) for our APAC Regional Hub based in Petaling Jaya. In this role, you will support the P2P and O2C SDL working with internal and external customers regarding P2P processes & operational related matter, KPIs, etc and also working in alliance with GSK Operations Team to resolve issues with efficiency. You will be responsible for the monitoring and control of the lead and lag metrics, documentation and triage of incidents and other support requests for APAC markets.

This role requires knowledge of P2P in terms of processes and SAP system.

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor day-to-day P2P operation for APAC markets, driving to positively impact Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) and customer experience.
  • Keep invoice workflow management under healthy control via working closely with GSK Operation Team, business users, Service Delivery Lead, Competency Center, IT etc to ensure invoice workflow is resolve at accurately and timely manner.
  • Escalate process/systems exceptions and ongoing systems issues to Service Delivery Lead, Operation Performance Lead, FRMC and/or GPO etc, to make sure it will be addressed and resolved in a timely manner, on both interim and long-term solution perspective.
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for other teams including strengthening GSK Operation Team's knowledge with good understanding of P2P systems and process to support issue resolution.
  • Supporting Service Delivery Lead to- resolve customer issues escalated by the business, including provide detailed documentation, action plans to avoid recurrences and propose any changes needed in current ways of working. Reviewing process documents and providing trainings when necessary.
  • Build network and engaging with customer on P2P performance process challenges and improve awareness on P2P E2E Support Model. Bring business users challenges observation to relevant parties for their support on improving customer experience / support model.
  • Review and monitor controls to ensure operation compliance and drive remediation action plan to ensure risk are mitigated. Act as control expert for P2P and ensuring GSK Operation Team's understanding of control, testing & monitoring is embedded within GSK Operations Centre. Recommend control design improvement to Risk & Compliance Team.
  • Participate ad hoc discussion including generate P2P related reports for analysis upon request.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with:
  • Business Administration or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • SAP Proficiency is a mandatory
  • Proven experience in P2P invoice processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft skills (i.e. Excel, Words, Power Points etc.)
  • Experience of working in a Shared Service Centre would be preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with and influence users/vendors remotely
  • Ability to work in culturally diverse teams and reconcile cultural differences to successfully deliver services (Local Market, BPO, Functional team, GPO etc)
  • Ability to adjust and adapt to situations in a timely manner.
  • Motivated self-starter, proactive with initiative to work and learn.
  • Ability to multitask and use various tools simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of work while under reduced supervision.
