Job Title: Mathematics Tuition Teacher

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Tuition Teacher to provide high-quality instruction and academic support to students aged 7 to 12 years. The ideal candidate should be committed to nurturing students' Maths skills and fostering a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Academic Support

Provide tutoring and academic support for Mathematics classes to students aged 7-12 years (Standard 1 to Standard 6).

Plan, prepare, and conduct structured lessons, revision sessions, and engaging learning activities (both online and/or in-person).

Develop and utilize effective teaching tools and materials to enhance student learning outcomes.

Adapt teaching methods and materials to cater to varying learning styles, needs, and interests.

Establish clear learning objectives and communicate them effectively to students.

Classroom Management & Student Development

Conduct 2-hour class sessions as scheduled (classroom and facilities will be prepared by the centre).

Prepare classrooms and maintain an environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.

Monitor, assess, and evaluate students' academic performance and behavioral development.

Prepare, administer, and grade tests, assignments, and examinations.

Enforce classroom rules and maintain discipline to ensure a safe, respectful, and orderly learning environment.

Ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff within the learning centre.

Maintain centre cleanliness and ensure rubbish is properly packed and disposed of daily in the designated area.

Requirements

School teachers, retired teachers, or candidates with prior teaching/tutoring experience are encouraged to apply.

Passionate about education and working with children.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Willing to work at the designated location in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur.

Class Schedule

Maximum 8 sessions per week (16 hours)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From RM20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
