Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and creative Junior Executive - Pastry/Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in crafting high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods while maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism. Key Responsibilities

Pastry & Baking Production

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, breads, desserts, and other baked goods according to recipes and guidelines. Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all products.

Creativity & Innovation

Assist in creating new recipes and experimenting with flavors and designs. Stay updated on the latest trends in the pastry and baking industry.

Quality Control

Monitor and ensure all baked goods meet the company's quality standards. Manage portion control and minimize waste.

Hygiene & Safety

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and baking tools. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines (e.g., HACCP standards).

Inventory & Supplies Management

Assist in managing inventory, including the storage and rotation of ingredients. Notify the manager about low stock levels and help with ordering supplies.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily operations. Provide support to other kitchen staff as needed.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Diploma or certification in Pastry Arts, Baking, or Culinary Arts. 1-2 years of experience in a pastry or baking role (fresh graduates are also welcome to apply).

Skills

Strong understanding of baking techniques and equipment. Creativity in presentation and flavor development. Good organizational and time-management skills.
