The Patient Relation Executive acts as the primary point of contact between patients and the healthcare facility. The role ensures a positive patient experience by managing admissions, addressing concerns, coordinating with medical and administrative teams, and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:1. Patient Interaction & Support
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and attendants courteously.
Guide patients through registration, admission, and discharge processes.
Provide information on hospital services, consultants, schedules, and billing procedures.
Handle patient feedback, grievances, and queries promptly and professionally.
2. Coordination & Communication
Liaise between patients, doctors, nurses, and administrative departments.
Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and referrals.
Maintain proper communication flow to ensure smooth patient service.
3. Documentation & Records
Ensure accurate patient data entry in the hospital management system (HMS).
Maintain confidentiality of patient records and personal information.
Support billing and insurance documentation if required.
4. Quality & Service Excellence
Monitor patient satisfaction levels and report issues to management.
Participate in patient satisfaction surveys and service improvement initiatives.
Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and service quality standards.
5. Administrative Support
Assist in preparing daily/weekly reports on patient feedback and service performance.
Support hospital events, health camps, and promotional activities.
Handle incoming calls, emails, and appointments in a professional manner.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
0-3 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare customer service role.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and multitasking ability.
Proficiency in MS Office and hospital management software.
Fluency in English and local language(s).
Personality Traits:
Courteous, patient-centric, empathetic, and detail-oriented.
