Collect and verify daily attendance, overtime, allowances, and deductions.
Update employee information and payroll changes into the system.
2. Payroll Support
Assist in preparing monthly payroll for timely and accurate processing.
Check payslips for errors and support the payroll executive with adjustments.
3. Statutory Administration
Assist in preparing EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other statutory submissions.
Maintain basic compliance documentation for audits.
4. Records Management
Organise and maintain payroll files, supporting documents, and employee records.
Track new joiners, confirmations, transfers, and resignations for payroll updates.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare simple payroll summaries or reports as required.
Support monthly reconciliation tasks.
6. Employee Enquiries
Handle basic payroll-related questions from employees and escalate when needed.
7. Confidentiality
Maintain strict confidentiality of salary and employee data at all times.
Requirements - Payroll Assistant
1. Education & Experience
Diploma in HR / Business Administration / Accounting or related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; experience in payroll is an added advantage.
2. Skills & Competencies
Basic understanding of payroll processes and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, formulas, data entry).
Experience with payroll software is a plus (SQL, or similar).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Good communication and ability to work with confidential information.
