Key Responsibilities



Manage day-to-day payroll and billing function.

Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate salary disbursements.

Verify and manage employee compensation details, allowances, deductions, and statutory contributions.

Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other applicable regulations.

Research and compile information related to payroll and billing policies/best practises for the development/update of the payroll and billing reference manuals/guideline.

Hands-on experiences and able to execute tasks related to the administration of end-to-end processing of weekly/monthly payroll and billing with an emphasis on accuracy and timelines.

Gather, compile and check all payroll information to ensure accuracy and compliance to local legal requirements (e.g. employer/employee statutory contributions, annual EA forms and income tax filing).

Accountable for all billing submission via softcopy, hardcopy and online.

Reconciliation of account for payroll and billing.

Maintaining proper records of payroll and billing.

Attend for audit related to payroll and billing.

Respond to queries and requests related to payroll and billing from internal staff/associates and clients.

Lead, train, and supervise the payroll and billing team to ensure operational efficiency.

Safeguard payroll data integrity and confidentiality at all times.

Billing Management

Manage billing operations for clients, ensuring invoices are accurate, timely, and aligned with contractual terms.

Participate in contract reviews for payroll and billing-related terms for new clients and renewals.

Monitor outstanding invoices and work with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies.

Policy, Compliance & Reporting

Maintain and update payroll and billing policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Ensure full compliance with local labor laws and financial regulations.

Prepare and submit management reports on payroll summaries, statutory payments, and billing performance.

Leadership & Team Management

Oversee workload allocation, performance evaluations, and employee development.

Promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, and service excellence.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and productivity.

Stay updated on industry best practices, system enhancements, and legislative changes impacting payroll and billing operations.

Any other adhoc task as and when require.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.

Minimum 5-8 years of experience in payroll and billing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Excellent statistical and analytical skills

Proficient in Microsoft excel skills (intermediate level and above)

Strong understanding of Malaysian statutory payroll regulations (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.).

Candidate who has exposure in large MNC companies and experience in supervisory role will be an added advantage.

Experience in using payroll and billing systems or software.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
