The Payroll Manager is responsible for payroll operations and administration responsible for in guiding the team in the execution of all payroll services and solutions. This role will interface with Business HR and COEs to continuously improve payroll services. Key Deliverables: Manage payroll team, coordinating across the team to ensure daily activities are consistent and well-managed Manage and oversee the execution of day to day payroll inputs collection and handoffs, approvals, and issue management with Payroll vendors Manage resolution of pay escalated inquiries Serve as liaison to Employees, Managers, HRBPs, and vendors when Payroll cases require escalation Recommend improvements in systems and tools based on operations experience Support team in processing payroll Share relevant payroll content with Content Maintenance Services professional to maintain on portal site Mandatory requirements: Bachelor\'s Degree At least 7 years of relevant multi-jurisdiction Payroll processing experience At least 3 years in managerial capacity Multiple country payroll experience is desired i.e. Singapore, China, Malaysia, Thailand etc. Experience in payroll operations/administration Familiar with HRIS and Payroll processing systems Knowledgeable about country specific labor laws and tax regulations Required behaviors and skills: Experience in the development and implementation of HR Shared Services initiatives Expert knowledge of HR policies and procedures Exhibits strong team development skills Possesses the ability to collaborate effectively with other members of HR Operations leadership. Demonstrates the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key external constituents, including vendors Experience in conflict and issue resolution Ability to guide, mentor and develop people Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information Attention to detail and paramount precision in payroll management. Highly skilled in critical thinking, flexibility and negotiation experience in providing customer service Desired behaviors and attributes: Ability to speak in other languages is an added advantage Must be able to work under tight timelines and have excellent organization and time management skills for managing multiple, diverse, and conflicting activities Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and project management skills Able to identify root causes, troubleshooting problems, and implementing solutions swiftly.
