Job Description

As a Payroll Specialist, you will participate in the daily operations of the payroll function by supporting few countries in SEA. The payrolls supported are for, salaried SEA employees at multiple departments or locations. Your role will involve frequent and detailed interaction with the country HR (People Operation Partner) and Payroll/Benefits personnel to ensure accurate entry and completion of all payrolls. You will report to the Team Lead and will work hybrid mode at Shah Alam office.

Main Responsibilities

Perform validations and checking on changes require in Flexi Form

Reconcile monthly payroll, which include salary, OT, incentives, bonuses, allowances, leaves, taxes and multiple payroll deductions

Reconciliation on Employee\'s and Employer\'s Banking Details

Request salary fund from HKG Treasury, upload bank file, communicate with bank for payment issues

Perform all statutory pay related activities.

Process and report the General Ledger postings of payroll related entries

Perform validation and reconcile on Year End Activities

Support Ad-hoc payroll process for special case, example termination and new hire

Provide update for statutory and legislation to respective country HR.

Qualifications

Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Human Resource Management, Business Studies or equivalent.

2 or more years of experience in a Payroll Processing/ Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Industry with experience in ERP system, knowledge in Workday would be plus.

Experience with end-to-end on SEA countries payroll processes, tax and employment laws and payroll accounting will.

Knowledge in Microsoft Office skills including proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot table, formulas)

Experience in payroll calculation and analyzing payroll data.

Client management experience or familiar with Service level agreement processes.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information (i.e act in an honest and professional manner)
