Job Description


Job Summary: The Branch Manager will oversee the daily operations of our store and activities to maximize sales and minimize costs. The ideal candidate will have experience as a store manager and knowledge of diverse business subjects such as sales, marketing etc. An effective retail manager will also be able to motivate personnel to perform according to their maximum capacity. Supervisory Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Trains staff for the retail location. \xe2\x80\xa2 Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of staff. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain discipline of employees in accordance with company policy. Duties/Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversees staff and fulfills staffing needs for regular hours, as well as special events or high-traffic times. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintains and motivates a positive sales team through communication and evaluations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Confirms daily sales reports and cash receipts and reports are submitted as prescribed by company policies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Addresses customer needs and resolves issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develops, oversees, and maximizes retail budget and product inventory, purchasing, and sales. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensures inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks. Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget \xe2\x80\xa2 Uses company software to research, analyze, and track purchases. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensures that the store always looks clean and inviting. \xe2\x80\xa2 Places and rotates merchandise to attract positive attention from customers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent verbal and written communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of retail management best practices and commercial awareness \xe2\x80\xa2 Works well under pressure and deadlines; ability to multitask. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate staff. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent customer service abilities.
