Role Description

At , the People & Culture Specialist is pivotal to our company\'s success. We are seeking a highly detailed-oriented individual that is ready to be part of our HR Department, partnering with the company as we continue to build a business that prioritizes its people. You will play a vital role in managing and supporting various aspects of our people and culture initiatives which include performance management, employee relation, employee engagement, training and development, and overall employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and performance improvement plans.
  • Handle probation cases, ensuring consistent and fair evaluations and providing guidance to managers and employees.
  • Serve as a mediator in employee conflict situations, providing guidance and facilitating resolutions to promote a harmonious workplace.
  • Identify training and development needs and implementing appropriate programs.
  • Design and administer compensation and rewards programs that align with organizational goals and attract, motivate, and retain top talent.
  • Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and insights, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance employee experience.
  • Promote a positive work environment by actively engaging with employees and coordinating employee engagement activities and company events.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a HR Generalist or similar role preferably in a SaaS or tech organization.
  • Nimble and agile team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proven experience in performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and designing HR frameworks, processes, and systems.
  • Solid understanding of HR practices and principles as well as employment laws and industrial act.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and handle sensitive employee relations matters.
  • Outstanding skills in resolving problems and making decisions, with a proactive approach to addressing people-related challenges.
  • Proficiency in managing confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
  • Ability to clearly explain complex ideas verbally and in writing.
