Role Description At Respond.io, the People & Culture Specialist is pivotal to our company\'s success. We are seeking a highly detailed-oriented individual that is ready to be part of our HR Department, partnering with the company as we continue to build a business that prioritizes its people. You will play a vital role in managing and supporting various aspects of our people and culture initiatives which include employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, employee relation, and overall employee experience. Responsibilities Employee Engagement Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Conduct surveys, analyze feedback, and provide recommendations to improve the employee experience. Organize and lead employee recognition programs, events, and initiatives. Performance Management Support the performance management process by providing guidance to managers and employees. Assist in developing performance improvement plans and facilitating constructive feedback conversations. Monitor and report on performance metrics, highlighting trends and opportunities for improvement. Learning and Development Collaborate with the Leadership Team and internal stakeholders to identify training needs and deliver impactful programs. Support the implementation of learning initiatives to enhance employees\' skills and career growth. Coordinate onboarding programs to ensure a seamless and positive experience for new hires. General HR Partner with the HR team to promote wellness programs and initiatives. Provide guidance and resources to employees regarding work-life balance, mental health, and stress management. Identify opportunities to improve work processes and foster a healthy work-life integration. Employee Relations Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure HR policies and practices are compliant. Assist in developing and maintaining HR policies and employee handbooks. Conduct investigations and provide guidance on employee relations issues as needed. Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a HR Generalist or similar role preferably in a SaaS or tech organization. Nimble and agile team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Proven experience in performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolutions. Demonstrated expertise in building and designing HR frameworks, processes, and systems. Solid understanding of HR practices and principles as well as employment laws and industrial act. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and handle sensitive employee relations matters. Outstanding skills in resolving problems and making decisions, with a proactive approach to addressing people-related challenges. Proficiency in managing confidential and sensitive information with integrity. Ability to clearly explain complex ideas verbally and in writing.
