Job Summary



Join our newly established People Services team in Kuala Lumpur as we expand capabilities in Payroll, Employee Life Cycle (ELC), Learning & Development (L&D), Compensation & Benefits (C&B), and global processes. This role supports the phased transition of activities from countries including Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the Philippines, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Pakistan. Our objective is to centralize virtual support functions at the Kuala Lumpur hub.


The People Services ELC Specialist supports the People Services ELC Lead / Subject Matter expert in managing transition activities, ensuring compliance, and enhancing HR operations. This role serves as a vital liaison among HR Centers of Excellence, regional and global stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver efficient, world-class People Services.


Project Management:





Support the People Services Director or People Services Subject Matter Expert in coordinating transition activities with regional teams related to employee life cycle and/or international mobility processes. Collaborate closely with HR Centers of Excellence to maintain alignment throughout the transition process. Ensure all transition activities comply with local regulations and corporate policies. Identify opportunities for process improvement by streamlining workflows and eliminating redundancies.

Operations Management:

Lead continuous improvement efforts within the People Services Team, partnering with HR Centers of Excellence to optimize core HR processes. Support the People Services Manager/Lead by conducting root-cause analyses and implementing effective intervention plans to address issues. Ensure all People Services activities adhere to corporate policies, procedures, and relevant local or federal regulations. Handle escalations, resolve complex cases, and maintain strong relationships with customers as required. Experience in managing employee life cycle processes and/or international mobility processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated People Services, including participation in Service Review meetings with country representatives. Assist in documenting customer inquiries and corresponding resolutions accurately.

Qualifications:

Over 4 years of experience in HR Services operations, preferably with expertise in ELC and International Mobility processes. Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach. In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, compliance standards, and process improvement techniques. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and global locations. Proficient in HR systems such as Oracle, Workday, SuccessFactors, or SAP, with experience using HR ticketing tools like ServiceNow. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and charts, with confidence in handling data sets.
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or higher is a plus.
