Captalent Consulting is an established human capital solutions company providing a range of services that enhances the human capital value of its clients. We are currently looking to fill the following position for our client, an established FMCG wholesaler and retailer of food, beverages and other consumer products.

PERSONAL ASSISTANT (Based in Kuantan, Pahang)

Summary

The position is to support the Managing Director in administration, and on managing the governance and strategy processes in the company.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general secretarial/personal assistant duties such as handling calls, appointments, correspondences, prepare minutes, emails, travel arrangements etc;
  • Responsible for overall aspects of administrative functions of the Director\'s office to ensure smooth running of daily operations, flight booking, hotel accommodation arrangement, company events, restaurant booking arrangement and etc;
  • Accountable to follow through all matters requiring execution of action plans and ensuring the team achieves tasks\' deadlines
  • Deal effectively with all levels of staff and external stakeholders including Senior Management;
  • Maintain a proper and systematic filing & work system and ensure effective document control for easy access and retrieval if required;
  • Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties assignedby the Management;
  • Manage expenses, ensuring accurate records are retained and submitted in a timely manner;
  • Handle confidential information and exercise discretion at all times;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the MD, including those of a highly confidential or critical nature.
  • Prioritize and determine appropriate course of action,referral, or response, exercising judgement to reflect MD\'s style and organization policy
  • Prepare expense reports, including submitting MD\'s claims;
Requirements
  • Minimum Degree /Diploma /Certificate /Secretarial /Business
  • Must have basic knowledge In Accounting & Finance
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field
  • Ability to converse and communicate in English both written and spoken. Knowledge of Mandarin will be an advantage
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Words and Power Point skill
  • Positive attitude, able to do work independently with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Able to communicate well with people at different levels in the organization
  • Hardworking and has a positive working attitude
  • Good analytical, strategic and forward thinking, organizational competence, accountability, integrity, passion and energy
  • 5.5 day-work week
Salary RM3,000 - RM4,500, to commensurate with experience.
