BASIC FUNCTIONS: Responsible for the welcoming and departing of hotel guest in a courteous and efficient manner. Process all payments according to establish hotel procedures. Provide information to any guest or visitor inquiry. Personal Associates is also to be on rotation being a concierge. Overall function, to provide a personalized service by eventually becoming a BUTLER. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: \xc2\xb7 Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English and /or any foreign language with guests, visitors, management and co-workers to their fullest understanding, both in person and on the telephone. \xc2\xb7 Ability to provide legible communication and directions. \xc2\xb7 Ability to input and access data in the computer. \xc2\xb7 Ability to understand guest inquires and provide responses. \xc2\xb7 Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Front Desk and by telephone. \xc2\xb7 Ability to remain professional and courteous with demanding or difficult guests or situations, in order, to turn them to the positive. \xc2\xb7 Ability to focus on the guest needs remaining calm and courteous. \xc2\xb7 Ability to think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions. \xc2\xb7 Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work well under pressure on any arrivals and/or departures within any given period of time. \xc2\xb7 Ability to focus attention on details. \xc2\xb7 Ability to ensure security and confidentiality of guest and hotel information. \xc2\xb7 Ability to ensure security of guest room access. \xc2\xb7 Ability to remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods of time. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team. \xc2\xb7 Ability to practice aggressive hospitality. \xc2\xb7 Ability to create and maintain a positive work environment to ensure an excellent work relationship with other departments and to ensure the guest expectations. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work without direct supervision \xc2\xb7 Ability to maintain excellent guest relations. \xc2\xb7 Ability to ensure that all special guest needs and expectations are met and exceeded in concert with the Team Leader and Duty Manager \xc2\xb7 Ability to follow posted scheduled. \xc2\xb7 Ability to maintain excellent grooming and dress codes. \xc2\xb7 Receive, store and deliver luggage and mail for guest. \xc2\xb7 Ability to go beyond the miles and wow guest by being able to carry unusual requests such as searching for hard-to-find items. Education:
  • STM/STPM (Preferred)
Experience:
  • Front Office: 1 year (Preferred)
