Role Overview We are searching for a Plant Manager to be responsible for leading our new plant operation in Malaysia that will start production of intermediate bulk containers in 2024. This plant is located at Kawasan Perindustrian, Pasir Gudang, Johor. This is an exciting position for a driven and visionary leader who enjoys the challenge of managing, coaching, and motivating a cross-functional team in a dynamic production environment. This critical role offers you the opportunity to strategically build a successful new operation, optimize production workflows, and take ownership of the production budget and cost control. Typical Accountabilities Oversee overall plant operations, providing guidance to all operations-related department including maintenance, safety, logistics, and quality. Manage major customers\' product concerns and enquiries. Promote consistent adherence to safety practices and regularly verify proper functioning of safety features. Manage and monitor production performance and budget. Lead and monitor future re-conditioning and upgrading projects, ensuring the implementation of best practices in the production process that aligns with our continuous improvement objectives. Enhance internal processes through keeping up with the latest market trends, including new technology, competitor activities, and regulatory changes. Requirements Education and demonstrated experience in production, safety, and quality in an industrial or related environment. Able to demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills. Able to communicate well in English and Malay.
