The Plant Manager oversees daily factory operations in Sabah, focusing on production efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards. Key responsibilities include managing a diverse team, optimizing processes, and controlling costs.

• Oversee daily factory operations, ensuring production meets company standards for quality and efficiency
• Lead a team of supervisors, technicians, and operators, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, and drive a proactive approach to sustainability
• Manage budget planning and cost control, ensuring resource optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, quality control, and supply chain, to meet production targets
• Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement or cost savings
• Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability
• Foster a positive work environment, supporting staff training, development, and performance management initiatives

Highly established palm oil refinery in Sabah|Dynamic and progressive work environment

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred), Manufacturing, or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in factory or production management, with a proven track record in manufacturing, preferably in palm oil or related industries
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing diverse teams
• Solid understanding of production planning, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles
• Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
• Proficiency in production management software and MS Office
