Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:JD role not limited to TSCs subsidies and/or associate silica beneficiation companies;Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

• Reporting to the Senior General Manager.

Port Operations (Land & Marine)

• To lead and communicate with Port staffs on rosters and operational issues to achieve an average monthly loading rate of 350 tons per hour (Gross);
• To report to Management on hourly basis during operations on vessel loading progress and any problems that may occur;
• To arrange and coordinate operations & manpower at Hopper 04 to ensure smooth cargo loading;
• To arrange and communicate with Road Traffic Controllers (RELA) to ensure minimum disruption to transportation of cargo from Stockpile to Port;
• To arrange and communicate with Plant Supervisor / Assistant Plant Supervisor the workflow from Stockpile (Plant) to Port during Vessel Operations;
• To monitor and make sure the flow process from the stockpile (Plant) to Port running smoothly;
• To communicate with Sales & Marketing Unit on incoming vessel schedule and coordinate vessel berthing with all related parties such as Pilot, Mooring Gang, Wharf Fingers, Loading Master, Vessel Agent, Pilot Boat, Tugs, MFSO and etc;
• Responsible to oversee the scheduling of loaders and trucks to do the loading in the hopper at Transfer Tower 1 and Transfer Tower 2;
• Oversees vessel loading and unloading operations and tracks tonnages for efficiency;
• To coordinate with the Pilot and wharf fingers to ensure safe berthing and unberthing of vessels.

KPI to be achieved

• Productivity as per targeted by the Management tons per hour
• Berthing according to plan and Zero delay
• Zero Accident

Port & Pipe Conveyor Maintenance

• To conduct daily briefing for port staffs on the tasks and expectations for that day for maintenance and housekeeping;
• To plan regular maintenance of conveyor and port in order to minimize port and conveyor downtime;
• To conduct regular inspection on all port related assets such as Conveyor, Fenders, Ship loaders, etc to ensure minimum disruption to operations;
• To communicate with Store and Procurement to ensure spare part availability.

KPI to be achieved

• Minimum disruption to meet average productivity target tons per hour

Off Season Responsibilities in Plant includes but not limited to: -(When there are no Vessel Operations / Maintenance Job at Port & Pipe Conveyor)

• Reporting to Plant Manager;
• To assist Plant Manager, monitor process plant (MPP) and mine unit plant (MUP) operations;
• To assist Plant Manager to maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources;
• To assist Plant Manager to liaise with the Mine & Plant Operation and Mining Operations

Land Logistics (Trucking)

• To coordinate and report daily truck delivery plans between Sales Team and Plant Team;
• To ensure all truck delivery that is planned is completed within the same day;
• To ensure sufficient equipment provided for all deliveries;
• To ensure a maximum product loss of 5% ONLY for each trucks;
• Support time to time tasks assigned by the Superior.
