Job Title: Power BI Developer

Principle Accountabilities:

Power BI:

Hands-on experience in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects.
Familiar with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack having Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS.
At least 3 years of experience working with a self-service tool, preferably Power BI.
Hands-on in Power BI & Power Tool
Build Analysis Services reporting models.
Develop visual reports, dashboards, and project scorecards using Power BI desktop.
Connect to data sources, import data, and transform data for Business Intelligence.
Analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
Implement row-level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
Adept in development, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.
Understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources.
Have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
Develop custom visuals for Power BI.
Understand the business requirements, document as report specifications, propose report format and ultimately develop the agreed dashboard and or reports which are insightful and accurate. The final dashboards and reports should have undergone user tests and acceptance prior to being classified as completed.
Identify data discrepancies and data quality issues to ensure data consistency and integrity.
Provide end user training.
Review and highlight issues and proposed improvements in current BI operations.

Project Online:

Able to configure and manage Microsoft Project Online
Able to migrate Microsoft Project Online to Microsoft Project on the Web
Able to transpose data from Microsoft Project Online to Power BI dashboard.

Qualification & Experience:

At least Bachelor's Degree in Information technology/computer science (or related field)
Minimum 3 years of working experience in BI analysis and end to end development on Microsoft SQL (SSIS, SSAS, SSRD) and Power Platforms especially Power BI.
Knowledge and experience in other presentation tools such as Tableau will be an added advantage.
Certificates in Microsoft (MCSA) equivalent or related will be an added advantage
Good understanding of data analytics, data integration, data modelling, BI and presentation concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to multitask, work independently, systematically and deliver on time.
