Power BI Developer (Finance Domain) - Kuala Lumpur (Menara Capsquare)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced

Power BI Developer

with strong expertise in

data engineering, ETL, and financial data visualization

. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of

finance-related dashboards, FP&A, or FinOps

, and a passion for turning data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain

Power BI dashboards and reports

for Finance and Business teams. Build and optimize

ETL pipelines

to prepare data for analysis and visualization. Collaborate with Finance and FP&A teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Integrate multiple data sources and ensure data accuracy, quality, and governance. Provide insights through interactive visualizations and performance tracking dashboards. Maintain best practices in BI development, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.

3-8 years

of experience in

Power BI development

, data modeling, and ETL processes. Proven experience in

financial reporting or finance departments

. Strong understanding of

accounting principles, FP&A, or FinOps

. Hands-on experience with

BI tools

such as

Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms

. Good communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of SQL, DAX, and data warehousing concepts. Exposure to tools like

Azure Data Factory

,

SSIS

, or

Python for ETL

. Experience working with

multinational finance teams

or

shared service environments

.

Pay: RM4,646.54 - RM12,000.00 per month
