Support clients in a professional manner, addressing their concerns and providing guidance throughout the sales process.
Conduct presentations and product/solution demonstrations to showcase the companys capabilities.
Effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits of companys products and technologies.
Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed solutions.
Create comprehensive design documentation, including proposals, diagrams, BOMs, and timelines.
Clearly explain technical aspects to clients, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of the proposed solutions.
Structure and produce technical proposals according to tender specifications.
Ensure that the technical proposals align and deliver while aligning with the client requirements and highlight the companys value.
Interface with the implementation/project team, effectively communicating with customer requirements and ensuring a smooth transition from the sales phase to project delivery.
Provide insights and recommendations to the implementation team to ensure successful project execution.
Demonstrate companys products and technologies effectively to audiences with varied technical knowledge.
Adapt the demonstration approach and level of technical detail to cater for the audiences needs and understanding.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 5 years of working experience in a related field, preferably in Sales - Engineering/Technical/IT or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in pre-sales activities, technical consulting, or solution architecture is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Proficient in English and Malay, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Possess knowledge and skills in some of the following areas:
Enterprise Architecture, including SOA, Microservices, API, ESB, MQ, Event Streaming, DevOps, CI/CD, Databases, etc.
Development frameworks such as Java, Spring, Laravel, Vue, etc.
Application development knowledge, including methodology, activity scoping, and solution write-up.
Good presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to diverse audiences.
Strong writing skills to create compelling proposals and documentation.
Willingness and eagerness to learn and explore new technologies and advancements in the field.
Proactive in staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Familiarity with the sales cycle process, including lead generation, qualification, solution design, proposal development, and closing.
Willingness to travel within Malaysia and overseas as required for client meetings and business engagements.
