The Role: Pricing Specialist

The Location: Penang, Malaysia

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data processes
• Responsible for developing and maintaining Alteryx solutions, supporting centralized data sourcing, analysis, and Power BI dashboards
• Support the development of automated processed connecting to business objects, Salesforce, Excel, MSSQL, and other data sources
• Ability to evaluate current processes and recommend automation to improve the overall pricing operations process efficiency and data quality
• Partner closely with the pricing analytics and operations team to quickly resolve issues
• Build and maintain sustainable ongoing processes and periodic ad-hock analysis
• Build analytical models from the ground up to support special initiatives

Key qualities and requirements of successful candidate:

• Solid systems knowledge - we use Alteryx, Excel, and Power BI. Basic DB/MSSQL knowledge a plus.
• Background and experience in with outlined technologies to create sustainable processes
• Experience in creating financial analytics and reporting metrics with technologies outlined
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
• Experience of working within an international organization desired
• Undergraduate degree in business analytics or software development
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics with Excel
• 3+ years of experience in Alteryx and Power BI
