This is a leading school on the island of Penang, located in the prestigious neighbourhood of Tanjung Bungah, just outside George Town. The school offers a British-based curriculum for 3 to 16-year-olds that follows the IPC, the National Curriculum for England and IGCSEs. With a new 75,000-square-foot STEAM facility set to open in April 2024, the school community is set to embark on a new approach to education pillared on the progressive learning approach of STEAM: science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics. Powering its new STEAM focus is an educational philosophy that has been proven around the world: Amazing Learning. Amazing learning is about persisting through challenges and achieving breakthroughs. It\'s about embracing the "good struggle" and turning "Oh no!" moments into "Oh wow!" moments.The school caters to the children of expatriates working and living in Malaysia and to Malaysian families who opt for international education. The student population of approximately 560 comprises 33 different nationalities. The teaching staff is both expatriate and Malaysian.   • Appropriate degree and teaching qualification, e.g., bachelor\'s degree with teaching qualification, PGCE/Diploma in Education or relevant degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required, preferably in an international school context covering the International Primary Curriculum.
  • Must be able to teach computing.
  • Creative, inspiring, patient, resourceful, and energetic.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly responsible, dedicated, hardworking, and a team-player.
  • Reflective individual who is committed to life-long learning and development.
  • Experience teaching students English as an additional language.
