Were growing our APAC Energy & Power capability with a surge in new projects and were looking for a Principal Power Consultant who is motivated to develop capability whilst guiding the regional team in Malaysia. This exciting opportunity with collaborate closely with our Sales Director in Asia to provide power sector-based leadership. This position is a key influencer across the Asia region and will working closely with our Head of Sectors, Director of Operations, Country Managers, Section Managers, Team Leads and Sales teams to develop and support Jacobs strategic direction. Were hoping to find a well-qualified Mechanical Engineer, an experienced Power Generation Sector Leader, with sound knowledge of Power Generation projects (particularly thermal), with excellent Project Management capabilities. • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Asia Energy and Power operations regional strategy.
• Support change management initiatives, work closely with operational teams to establish an approach for developing/sustaining client relationships and identify capabilities to meet current and future client requirements.
• Develop opportunities with new and existing clients and support the development of technical proposals.
• Lead, coordinate, or contribute to Feasibility Studies, FEED, Concept Design, and Due Diligence Studies for Thermal Power Plants and its BOP systems.
• Understand and review the O&M documentation related to the plant various operation scenarios and asset management.
• Participate in design review for owners engineering projects when required to ensure delivery on-time and to quality agreed.
• Act as a custodian for all key projects in the region, support the delivery and leadership of multi-disciplinary and sector teams, managing key financial and delivery KPIs.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality to achieve best-in-class status within the market sector.
• Leverage our Solutions and Technology groups to bring world leading skills and technologies to local clients in Asia.
