Job Description

:We\'re looking for a database specialist as part of our specialist tech engineering team. You will work as part of a cloud engineering team of specialists to collaborate with our customers on plans and strategies to move database workloads to cloud. In collaboration with sales & solution engineering teams, you will drive growth for Oracle Database across a broad set of customers across APAC.The key skills needed are:

• Oracle DB Architecture experience in Oracle 11g, 12c ,19c.
• Strong Core DBA Skills in DB 11g/DB 12c/DB 19c.
• Experience in implementing multi-tenant architectures.
• Experience/Exposure in Oracle Enterprise Manager, RMAN, Data guard and Real Application Cluster (RAC)
• Experience in Installation, Cloning, Maintenance/Support of Production and Development Environment.
• Database migration and upgrades using methods/utilities like Datapump, RMAN backup/restore, data guard and auto upgrades.
• Experience in Oracle Database migrations (preferably OCI DB Systems, Exadata & Autonomous Database).
• Work experience in Unix Shell scripting & automation.
• Experience in capacity planning, designing, and implementing enterprise solutions using Oracle Database Technology.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Analyzes problems, identifies solutions, and makes decisions.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow professionally.
• Good to have architectural understanding of all technical aspects of a cloud solution including networking, security, resilience, and connectivity.

Career Level - IC4Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating scalable database solutions for enterprise customers on OCI
• Migrating existing database workloads to OCI & conduct database PoCs.
• Collaborate with the account sales, presales & product management teams to drive Oracle database growth in the region
• Collaborate seamlessly across regions & cultures.
• Act as a technical Database advisor to enterprise customers across APAC.
